Brandi Chastain and the Bra - Women’s World Cup Editorial ‘19
As part of a series of Women’s World Cup editorial storytelling pilots, the team repurposed an old audio interview for Nike in which famed soccer player Brandi Chastain recounts the incredible moment in 1999 when she infamously rips off her shirt in glory. But whatever happened to the bra? The team worked together to tell the story of the bra’s history, using low-fi animation and simple voiceover. The video is still one of the most watched on the Nike Women’s Instagram Channel.
