The Harlem Honey and Bears is a synchronized swim team located in Harlem, made up of mostly 60+ year-olds. At the height of the pandemic, we spent nearly a week with the team, learning about their rich history as an organization, of friendships and heartaches, and ultimately the love that connects the team in and out of the water. When the film launched, we had a viewing party over Zoom, and many tears, emotions and laughter filled the room. The story ran on flagship social channels, and on Nike.com.
